This chart is meant to represent the various gearsets available over the years for the Herald-based Triumphs and in what cars each gearset was commonly found. This information is not meant to imply interchangeability, although it is possible in some cases to install a gearbox from one model into another (i.e., Toledo gearboxes in Mk.IV Spitfires) with little or no modification required. Except as noted, overdrive units are not discussed here. Other models are also listed for comparison purposes.
