To anyone who visits Venice this is a familiar night scene as viewed from the waterfront near the Bridge of Sighs. But in my case the scene was photographed under low light on an overcast day. The 35mm color slide was then sandwiched with a blue filter and re-photographed. After scanning the slide at a high definition dpi for maximum sharpness the graphic was then digitally given the reflected lights and lamp glow common to this waterfront scene. As true for all such graphics, the real details of the scene pop out in the poster-sized enlargement that enables viewers to see such details as the stars and their occasional reflection in the waters of Venice.
