Once my title has been submitted for print, how long does it take before it's available?

7 to 12 days.

When is the production cost of my title due?

To begin work on a project we require a Title Production Deposit of $1000. The Total Production cost balance is due before the title is submitted for production.

If I provided you with everything you need to create my book today, how long will it take before it's ready to send to print?

Generally, we can produce a title---from beginning to end in about 5 days. This is assuming we have all necessary files from the author (text copy of the full Manuscript and all needed materials for the cover) Another factor which determines our book production time is the number of titles we currently have in various stages of pre-press. If your title is submitted to us today and we have 0-5 titles in pre-press, then 5 days is still a reasonable estimate. If your title arrives and we have 7-15 titles in pre-press, then it may take a little longer. The best way to know for sure is to call us to discuss your project. At any given time, we can tell you exactly how many titles we're producing, thus providing you with a accurate estimate of time to produce your title based on what's going on today.

Will InnerCircle Publishing / Revolution Press copyright my book for me? And when is a book generally submitted for copyright?

We don't copyright your book. Legally, the moment you printed or secured the work on paper or other media, the work became copyrighted. Registering your work with the Library of Congress is how you officially obtain copyright on a work. That requires filling out the correct form for your particular work and sending them about $35 and 2 bound copies of the work. Yeah, as silly as it sounds, they actually require 2 copies of the book you are copyrighting in order to obtain a copyright. And that's why the author files for copyright on their own and after the book has been printed.

Does InnerCircle Publishing / Revolution Press offer a contract?

Yes. We have an Author Distribution Agreement that details and governs our working agreement. This is a simple, 1 page contract that you don't have to be a lawyer to read and understand. We present this agreement to every author in advance of producing their work.
