Display Advertising Information
The El Paso Journal is the hometown newspaper
covering news in the El Paso area including Gridley, Secor, Kappa, and
Panola. The Journal is distributed weekly on Wednesday to the
area we serve with a circulation of 1,100. We offer more local
government news, school news, sports news, council meeting coverage,
and school board proceedings than any other source.
Because of the paper's longer shelf life, an
advertisement in the El Paso Journal is seen frequently throughout the
week. A daily newspaper has a 1-day shelf life. A weekly
newspaper has a 7-day shelf life.
National statistics indicate that a weekly newspaper
will stay in the house 3-5 days and will be seen by more than person
and more than one time. This is the paper people refer to for
sports schedules, seasonal events, park district programs and other
local events.
Our display ad deadline is 2 p.m. Thursday for the
next week's issue. We would be happy to send you a copy of our
current rate card, or talk with you about the best way to increase your
business through print advertising. Pre-printed inserts must be
in the office 10 days prior to insertion in the paper.
